A tale of two sync engines
Nov 12 14:00 - 14:25
At Figma, real-time collaboration is our bread and butter. So much so that we developed not one, but two (!) sync engines to keep our product multiplayer and fast. This talk will cover the history of these two sync engines, why and how they evolved differently, and a deep-dive on the challenges of scaling one of them: LiveGraph, our in-house real-time GraphQL-like service.
